LASAGNA BALCANICA

1 package of readymade lasagna sheets (no precooking required)
400 gr spam meat (or any other canned meat product)
4 tbsp SOLIA SMILE oil
1 onion
1 small carrot
2 garlic cloves
parsley
bay leaf, rosemary
1 tablespoon tomato purée
1 tablespoon all-spice like Začin C or Vegeta
2 dl red wine
salt, pepper
Béchamel:
60 gr butter or margarine
40 gr flour
4-5 dl cold milk
2 yolks
nutmeg
2 tbsp grated parmesan (or some other grated cheese)


Preparation:
Sautee spam meat in oil, finely chopped onion and grated carrot until it turns soft and all water evaporates. Add chopped garlic, parsley and bay leaf, a bit of rosemary, tomato, Začin C or Vegeta allspice. Finally add red wine. Continue to sauté until all liquid is gone. Add salt if needed.
Prepare béchamel sauce in a separate dish:
Melt butter, add flour and shortly cook them, making sure it does not burn. Pour in milk and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring all along, then add nutmeg and a pinch of salt. Let béchamel sauce cool a bit before adding yolk and parmesan. Stir with a light hand.
Layer the dish in a baking tray oiled with SOLIA SMILE oil in the following order:
a layer of lasagna sheets
a layer of meat filling
a layer of béchamel sauce
Continue to layer the dish in this manner until you run out of the material but make sure that the top layer is the béchamel sauce! Bake in the oven heated to 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
