FINE APPLE CAKE

Ingredients:
5 big apples
200g grits
200g sugar
100ml SOLIA SMILE oil
150ml milk
150g chopped walnuts
1 egg
1 10 gr baking powder
2 packages vanilla scented sugar
50g raisins
50g powdered sugar


Preparation:
Clean the apples and grate them coarsely. Mix grits, sugar, egg, grated apples, oil, baking powder, vanilla-scented sugar, raisins and milk in a separate bowl. Mix all the ingredients well to get an even mixture. Oil a square baking tray (25x30cm in size) and dust with flour, then pour in the cake mixture. Flatten the surface with a spoon. Bake in a preheated oven at 200’C for some 45 minutes. It is best to check with a needle to see if the cake is done. Let the baked cake cool, then cut in squares of desired size and dust with powdered sugar.
