300 g tofu
3 tbsp corn flour
SOLIA STYLE oil for frying
For marinade:
2 tbsp mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
1 teaspoon grated ginger
50 ml Japanese soy sauce
1 garlic clove
½ teaspoon ground chili pepper
1daikon (long white radish)
toasted sesame seeds
Mix mirin, grated ginger, soy sauce, pressed garlic and chili pepper in a small dish. Cut tofu into squares, coat with this marinade and let sit for one hour.
Coat the marinated tofu with corn flour and fry in deep SOLIA STYLE oil for several minutes until it gets a nice light brown color.
Place warm tofu on a paper towel to drain and serve with grated daikon and toasted sesame seeds. You can serve this fried tofu with vegetable of your choice.
